Canoe Journey Departure Update
Please note the following update regarding departure times and locations for Canoe Journey next week: Culture Department staff will meet at the Tribal Center at 7am on 7/16. Pullers should meet at the Tribal Center at 7:30am to load their gear onto the box truck. They will depart the Tribal Center at 8am and arrive at the Fall City Boat Launch at 8:30am to depart with the canoes. The waterways from Tokul Creek to Fall City are too low to travel right now.
2019 Canoe Journey Benefit
Information regarding the 2019 Canoe Journey Benefit — including the application — are now available on the Snoqualmie Tribe’s main website under the TCR section.
Last Practice for Canoe Journey
Attention all Tribal Members! The last practice for Canoe Journey is this Saturday, July 21!
We will be leaving the tribal center at 7:00 AM going to the Snohomish River boat launch. The address is: 20 Lincoln Ave. , Snohomish Wa. 98290.
We will arrive and leave no later than 8:30 AM. There is extra room in the vans for pullers who want to join in also.
This is our last practice, we will end in Tulalip Marina.
This will be the same start time and place for canoe journey starting on July 24th.
Canoe Journey Benefit
We are excited to announce the 2018 Canoe Journey Benefit. The benefit will provide up to $500 per adult enrolled Tribal Member to assist in attending and participating in the 2018 Power Paddle to Puyallup. The benefit will be available beginning July 2, 2018. Please keep an eye out for a mailer from the General Resources Department in June with the application and all benefit details.
